Who is the most courageous person/people I know? Why?
I think the most courageous people I know would be my mom's dad and his family. My grandpa had seven brothers and one sister, which must have made migrating extremely hard. The reason I think that they are a really courageous family is because when they left Holland to come to the United States, they were leaving behind their flower business. Even though they were planning on starting a new one here in the states it would have to have been very complicated and stressful not knowing what was lying ahead.

ReplyDeleteDid you know that spoke only limited English? So not only were they coming to a brand new country, they didn't even speak the language fluently!You're right, Ella, that is courage!
